"You Know" Invite Only Single Release Party

#Repost #CHYTEA: Last night I was honored with the opportunity to go to the listening party of upcoming Philadelphia artist “Ms. Tia.” (@iammstia on Instagram and www.iammstia.com)

The event was at a beautiful venue in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, PA. The room was beautifully lit in blue, pink, and purple lighting and the drinks and hors d’oeuvres were immaculate. The room was full of love and special stories from Tia’s parents, closest friends, and business partners. I did not know Ms. Tia until last night, but from the words that were expressed about the songstress she’s Humble and Talented!

Ms. Tia played her brand new song for us titled “You Know” written by Tia and @revolutioncollectivephilly and Produced by Revolution Collective. In a musical world of “Getting Money” “Twerking” and Lacking substance, Ms. Tia proved she’s different by Elegantly using her platform to encourage and inspire her listeners.

Thank you for inviting me to your event, and I am excited for your rise to the top!

“You Know” the single is releasing on November 10th 2017 on all digital platforms. Please make sure to show your support and stream or buy it!

"Know Bullying Event"

On Sat Oct 7, 2017, I had the honor of being a part of the 1st Annual Community Day Event hosted by the Know Bullying Coalition. What an amazing opportunity to perform at such a meaningful event. I met and talk with several young entrepreneurs ages 6 and Up who are pursuing their dreams head on.

Not only was I inspired but I’m even more empowered to get more involved in my community and take a stand for such a meaningful cause. To the “Know Bullying Coalition” thank you for allowing me to be a part of this empowering event.  My audience was very knowledgeable about bullying and we discussed ways of detecting and deterring bullying and how to:

  • Define bullying.
  • Identify warning signs.
  • Engage parents.
  • Address behaviors

My audience was very receptive and provided feedback and even shared other resources to help and support one another.  Bullying and cyber-bullying has become an epidemic that affects millions of students of all ages daily.  Let’s all do our part to stop bullying in its tracks!

"2017 NAACP Philadelphia Branch Gala Awards"

I enjoyed an “awesome” evening at the 2017 NAACP Annual Fundraising Gala. I performed before hundreds of local politicians throughout the Tri-State Delaware Valley area. I had a chance to sit and talk with them about all the future and upcoming events in our community.

The Honorees for the evening were Ron Harper Esq (Legal Redress), Zed Smith (Corporate Citizen), Sharon Powell (Community Service) and Guest Honoree Marilyn Mosby (Baltimore City’s State’s Attorney).

It was a Historical Night filled with love. To the NAACP (Philadelphia Chapter) thanks again for having me. I look forward to performing at this event again next year. I must truly give a special thanks to my band members who are always supportive and my family and friends who consistently provide the love and energy I need to pursue my passion in music and entertainment. I can not wait to perform again for the NAACP!

Opening for "Avant" @ Kelsey's in AC

October 14, 2017. What an amazing opportunity to be able to share the stage with one of my favorite male singers, Avant.

The room was filled with people waiting to see us perform. It was an another awesome night;  Avant and I also made time for a nice photo-op (HeHe!). Besides both of us giving our sold out crowds a performance to remember, I can honestly say the whole experience was worth my time rehearsing for and preparing for a wonderful audience.

I am evaluating how I want my own career to maintain a longevity in the music business  as well. Watching a true artist like Avant should me just how powerful the right songs should be; both classy and timeless.

I look forward to performing with all the greats at Kelsey’s, they provide such wonderful experiences on my musical journey.
